Ethical policy

 

 

A. General Policy

1) Submitted articles or substantial parts of it should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

 

2) Conflicts of interest: Authors are required to acknowledge financial conflicts of interest or other interests that may influence the manuscript.

 

3) Ethical consent: Submission of a manuscript to the journal implies that all authors have read and agreed to its content, Research carried out on humans must include astatement confirming the informed consent was obtained from each subject or subject’s guardian and any experimental research on animals should be used after approval of the experimental protocol by a local ethics committee.

 

4) Copyright: Accepted manuscripts become the permanent property of the journal and may not be reproduced, in whole or in part, without the written permission of the editor.

 

5) Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to the following email address: fastmedicaljournal@gmail.com

 

B. Peer Review Process

Articles that are selected for peer review will be reviewed by two or more referees. Authors can suggest names of three expert reviewers, but selection remains a prerogative of the editor. The corresponding author is notified as soon as possible of the editor decision to accept, reject, or require modifications.

 

C. Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

1) Manuscripts submitted in English and must be type written in double-spaced with margins of at least 2.5 cm all around the paper and a font size of 12 with Times New Roman. The text should be in single-column format.

 

2) This order should follow: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion (The Results and discussion may be combined into a single section or presented separately), Conclusions, Acknowledgements, References, Figures with Figure Captions, Tables and Table Captions, Supplementary Data (if any).

 

3) The title page should bear the title of the paper, complete names and affiliation of all authors, including contact details of corresponding author (Telephone, Fax and E-mail address). An abbreviated title (not more than 50 letters and spaces) for use as a running headline should also be supplied.

 

4) The abstract should summarize the manuscript content in 250-300 words or less. Following the abstract should be included a list of keywords (3-5).

 

5) All Tables, Figures, Drawings and Graphs should be provided in separate pages and numbered according to their sequence in the text. The tables captions should be placed above and other captions should be placed below.

 

6) All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. In the text refer to references by a number in parentheses, and the full reference should be formatted according to standard reference style such as Vancouver reference system.
